Hi Sandy,

Cari and I wish to express how very much we enjoyed our stay at the Pretty Heart Estate this past weekend.  The home is quite lovely and inviting, and the surroundings are beautiful and serene.  Whether we were kayaking on the bay or curled up with a book, we felt completely at ease.  The past few months at work have been very busy for the both of us, so this get away was exactly what we needed.  Our stresses were swept away on the cool, salty breeze that came from off the bay.  It was truly a delight to wake in the morning and look out over the bay while sipping coffee.  Thank you for allowing us to share and enjoy your home--it is a very special place indeed.  Take care Sandy.  Peace be with you.

Hi Sandy!

We visited Pretty Heart to De-stress before our daughter's wedding.  We couldn't have felt more at home during our stay.  From the beautiful views outside the front door to the beautiful interior of the house, we were in heaven the moment we stepped out of our car.

What began as a time to gather our senses before our daughter's big day ended up becoming a second honeymoon for us!  We think of our time at Pretty Heart quite often and cannot wait to visit again!

Stan and I, and Dad and Pam, all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful Bay-side home!  It was perfectly situated underneath all of those beautiful old trees, with Alsea Bay right outside the windows in a post-card view, and only 5 minutes from town!  Your home was clean, the amenities you provided were quite generous, and you are a thoughtful, sweet hostess!  When I saw your web site, while in the Chamber of Commerce web site, I hoped that I would get lucky and your descriptions and photos would be an accurate depiction of Pretty Heart.  Well, I was more than lucky - I hit the jackpot!

I sincerely hope you are able to continue this venue - and I hope we can come to visit with you again.  We deeply appreciated all of the thoughtful things you did for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed having you come by for a visit so we could get to know you.

Anyone who is thinking of staying in a hotel should reconsider, and book with you at Pretty Heart instead!  They will not regret it!

Your house is truly a home.  We felt so welcome, and it took no time at all to start relaxing.  We had planned to do more activities away from the house, but ended up staying here most of our trip.  We couldn't pull ourselves away from the hammock, the hot tub, the view...  I could go on and on.  And the kitchen is a dream for someone who loves to cook.  This is the most rejuvenating vacation we've had in the 12+ years we've been together.

This was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon.  From the comfort of the house to the beauty of the setting to the proximity of beautiful beaches, hikes and towns.  This was a wonderful place to make memories that will last a lifetime.  In decorating your home and in making it a place of relaxation and comfort, you have omitted no detail.  The landscaping is impeccable.  Your website does not do justice to the spectacular view of the bay and mountains beyond right through the living room window.  As we met other visitors to the coast we felt so sorry for those packed into the typical hotels and resorts.  We felt that we had found a special place that truly reflects the beauty of the coast.

Thank you, Sandy, for so graciously sharing your estate with us!

From the DVD and CD player to the fireplace, hot tub and great kitchen (all of which we made use), your place was ethereal.  It was wonderful to walk nearby and see cows and horses and hear a rooster and many birds as well as drive just a little bit north (to the second park) and farther south on 101 to view such dramatic cliffs and sea rocks and the famous sea lions.
